Gift Card Postman campaign now supports
custom gift card amounts
. Instead of being limited to fixed denominations, your customers can enter exactly how much they want to gift — and that amount sets both the cart price and the value of the issued gift card.What's new
- Buyer-chosen amounts— Add a "Custom" denomination to your gift card product and a "Gift Card Value" field appears on the product page when it's selected
- Always in sync— The amount entered sets the cart price and the issued gift card value automatically, so the two always match
- Spending cap— Custom amounts are capped by your plan's gift card issue limit
- Powered by Shopify Functions— Built on Shopify's Cart Transform, replacing the deprecated Shopify Scripts, with no manual code or setup
How to enable
Open your
Gift Card Postman
campaign, turn on "Enable custom gift card value"
, and grant the cart permission when prompted. We'll add the Custom denomination to your app gift card product and reveal the amount field on your storefront automatically.Custom amounts are available to customers shopping in your store's default currency. For full details, see our documentation.
